Need help with the FATALnet Tech Toolkit? Here’s how to get started, what to check before you begin, and how returns and replacements work.

Quick start

  • Insert the FATALnet Tech Toolkit USB.
  • Restart and choose the USB device from BIOS/UEFI.
  • Use the command center to choose Back Up This Machine, Restore an Image, Tools, Disk & Network Info, Updates & Versions, or PBS Backup Server Settings.
  • For backup/restore, enter your own Proxmox Backup Server details in PBS Backup Server Settings.

Want whole-machine backup and restore? The toolkit can make a Proxmox Backup Server install USB so you can set one up on a spare PC, or connect to a server you already run.

Before you begin

  • Keep backups of important data before repair work.
  • Use secure wipe only when you intend to permanently erase a drive.
  • Confirm the correct target drive before restore, wipe, partition, or recovery tasks.
  • Use the toolkit only on systems you own or are authorized to service.

  • Unopened: returnable within the window shown at checkout.
  • Opened or used: generally not eligible for change-of-mind returns, since it’s a bootable software USB.
  • Defective: contact us with your order details for a replacement or other remedy.
  • Shipping: may be non-refundable unless the issue was our mistake.

The toolkit provides repair, diagnostics, backup, restore, and recovery workflows, but it cannot guarantee successful data recovery, successful repair, successful backup/restore, or compatibility with every PC or environment.
