Terms & Conditions

Last updated: June 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to use of this website and purchase of FATALnet Tech Toolkit — First Edition. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Product

FATALnet Tech Toolkit — First Edition is a physical 32GB bootable USB stick intended for PC repair, diagnostics, backup, restore, data recovery, secure wipe, and technical support workflows.

Sales region

Sales are currently intended for customers in Canada and the United States only. We may refuse or cancel orders outside those regions.

Responsible use

You are responsible for using the toolkit only on computers, drives, systems, and data that you own or are authorized to service. The toolkit is intended for legitimate repair, diagnostics, backup, recovery, and support use only.

Data loss and destructive tools

The toolkit includes powerful tools. Some functions can overwrite, erase, partition, restore, repair, or otherwise change disks and data. Secure wipe tools are intended to permanently erase data. Restore and partition tools can destroy existing data if used incorrectly.

You are responsible for confirming the correct target drive, maintaining backups, and understanding the task you choose before running it. If you are unsure, stop and seek qualified help before continuing.

No guarantee of recovery, repair, or compatibility

FATALnet Tech Toolkit may help with repair, diagnostics, backup, restore, and data recovery workflows, but it does not guarantee successful data recovery, successful repair, successful backup/restore, or compatibility with every PC, firmware setup, storage device, operating system, network, or Proxmox Backup Server environment.

Wording such as “recover,” “repair,” “restore,” or “backup” describes the type of workflow the toolkit provides. It does not guarantee a successful outcome in every case.

Proxmox Backup Server requirement

Backup and restore workflows require a Proxmox Backup Server that you provide, configure, run, and maintain. The USB does not include hosted cloud backup storage, a hosted backup server, or managed backup service.

Open-source software and upstream projects

The toolkit is built around open-source software. Individual tools remain subject to their own licenses, terms, notices, and documentation. Source and license information is included on the USB where applicable.

FATALnet Tech Toolkit is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to Debian, Proxmox, or any other upstream project or tool author unless expressly stated.

As-is / no warranty

The toolkit, website, included software, and related materials are provided “as-is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the toolkit will be error-free, uninterrupted, compatible with every system, or suitable for every repair/recovery situation.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FATALnet is not responsible for data loss, lost profits, business interruption, loss of use, hardware damage, software damage, failed recovery, failed backup/restore, or indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use or misuse of the toolkit.

Orders, pricing, and payment

Prices default to CAD unless otherwise shown. Checkout may be completed through PayPal and supported card payment options. Currency conversion, if available, may be handled by the payment provider. Taxes, shipping, and other charges may be added at checkout where applicable.

Shipping

Shipping times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. For US orders, customers may be responsible for any applicable import, customs, duty, or carrier fees if they apply.

Returns and support

Returns, replacements, and support are governed by the Support & Returns Policy. Because the product is a physical USB containing bootable software and open-source tools, opened and used items may have different return rules than unopened items.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on this website is the current version.
